Asad Chowdhury is a renowned poet and authors of Bangladesh. He is popular for the narrative television presentation and recitation. He was born on February 11, 1943 at Ulania in Mehendiganj upazila of Barisal. His father’s name is Mohammad Arif Chowdhury and mother’s name is Syeda Mahmuda Begum. Asad Chowdhury’s wife named Sahana Begum He passed the examination examinations in 1957 from Ulaniya High School. In 1960, he passed the Higher Secondary examination from Brojamohan College of Barisal. Later, he studied Bangla Language and Literature in Dhaka University. He obtained his graduation in 1963 from Bangla Department of Dhaka University and Honors in 1964 and Masters in 1964.
Asad Chowdhury’s job started as a college professor after the university’s education was over. He taught at Brahmanbaria College from 1964 to 1972. Later, after staying in Dhaka, he made a journal on various newspapers. From 1985 to 1988 he was the correspondent of Voice of Germany. He retired as a director after a long career in Bengali Academy in Dhaka.
